I started this blog to celebrate my loves and my works. My screen name is Baiyu, which implies my love for all things jade particularly Nephrite jade. The other great love of my life is also small and old. This time it is about Old Beads. Unfortunately I may have only one screen name, otherwise I would have called myself Aizhu too ....
March 1st 2009
2 years into my blog and I think its time to make some changes. I intend to expand the scope of this blog as just focusing on jade and beads is too narrow. Anway as more and more of my posts seem to be spilling over to border line topics, I may as well sweep in other antiquities and related activities to pad up the blog and make it less stodgy.
The dates and periods I use to describe my stuff may not be entirely accurate, so reader, BE A WARE !! My exposure is limited and my information is mostly derived through hearsay, (most dangerous) books, the Net and to these tools I add a dose of my hopeful conjectures. This is a fun blog driven by fascination with no guarantees for increasing your knowledge :))
But if you are a jade, bead or antiquities lover , Welcome !
